Ólafur Örn Arnarson was born in Iceland in 1976.
Using a photojournalistic method he creates what he calls Inversions. He collects moments of places and objects which he then transforms into digital negatives.
The subjects in his photos are not arranged, he shows them exactly the way he found them.
His part in the process is choosing location, time and angle, whereas content and color are determined by nature. Using the negative color space his images highlight and amplify the structures and patterns within nature itself, the original creator.
