TIME: A matter of swimming through transitions, rather than maths.

May 3nd – June 8th 2025 – Opening on May 2nd 2025 7 pm

We are: connections / the relations we choose and the ones we reject / the consciousness we feed / what we question / how we process our past / the time we devote to ourselves / the awareness of the environment and the bond with it. That’s the soil where I like to dig in.

SAMBU STUDIO is the artistic project of a self-taught conceptual artist based in Berlin. His work explores transitions – between past and present, material and meaning, decay and renewal. Inspired by anthropology and psychology, he captures the effects of time on bodies and thoughts by blending printmaking, embroidery, and illustration. His artistic process resembles swimming through layers of time, where every detail – from paper fibers to stitched lines – preserves a fraction of a moment.

The exhibition will be opened by a music performance by MENION.

MENION is the musical project of guitarist, producer, and composer Stefano Ferrari. His sonic world transforms linear time into a flexible construct, where visions dissolve into sound. Electronic textures, glitch elements, and post-rock fragmentations reflect the transition between structure and chaos. Like an old clockwork that not only measures time but makes its distortions audible, Menion’s music moves between calculated precision and intuitive improvisation. The effects of time on sound are not only heard but felt – a journey through what fades and what remains.
